Our P.T.A.

The P.T.A at Te Awamutu Intermediate School is a small, but enthusiastic and friendly group of parents and caregivers. We have a close working relationship with the Board of Trustees, with our main objective being to raise funds to purchase extra resources that improve the environment of the school for all students.

Some of the recent projects that the P.T.A has supported are: updating our school playground with new swings and in 2020 we installed a flying fox. In 2022 we updated lighting for our school hall, and we intend to put blinds into our A.L.C and purchase library books.

Last year we started fundraising to upgrade our netball courts with a turf surface, a huge endeavour which is continuing over this year as well.

We warmly invite all parents and caregivers to join us at our meetings. Being part of the P.T.A is an excellent way to meet other parents, find out what is happening around the school and to have input into where our resources are allocated.
