SHINE Leaders

This hard working group of young leaders are responsible for promoting our school SHINE values, organising and running student assemblies, discos and mufti days, as well as representing our school at other important events.

The councillors have been given opportunities to attend leadership courses, develop their public speaking skills, demonstrate initiative and are excellent role models for Te Awamutu Intermediate.

House Captains

Each house is represented by four House Captains. Their responsibilities include are responsible for leading and encouraging their house at Inter House sports and School Singing. They also referee lunchtime sports and help organise other sporting events.

The House Captains are also great role models in our school and have the chance to grow their leadership skills.
