Te Awamutu Intermediate

We welcome you and your child into our school community. Together we will promote high levels of achievement for your child and a wide range of activities in the sport, music, cultural and specialist fields. The two years in which your child will spend with us, is a very important period in his/her development.

Not only do we aim to continue the academic progress begun by the primary schools, but with the facilities we have, together with the grouping together of the district’s 10-13 year olds, we are able to offer your child a range of worthwhile experiences which we hope will enrich their academic work.

2027 Enrolments

The Board invites applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Te Awamutu Intermediate for 2027. If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot.

Closing date for out-of-zone applications is Friday 28 August 2026

Ballot, if required - Tuesday 1 September 2026

Applicants notified - Thursday 3 September 2026

Although we will continue to accept enrolments, we strongly encourage you to enrol by 18 September 2026 to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year.

Information Evening will be held in the school hall on Wednesday 26 August 2026 at 5.30 pm.
